Hey reader, I hope you're doing great ๐Ÿซถ

I've been a bit quiet lately on social media (and this newsletter) because I was taking a looong break ๐Ÿ๏ธ

And believe it or not... this is the first time I’ve ever taken a REAL break ๐Ÿซฃ

I didn't schedule any of my social media content ahead of time. Nor did I for this newsletter. I basically just muted notifications everywhere.

Can you remember the last time you did this with your social media?
Let me know how it goes!

I feel like in today's 24/7 online world, being offline is such a luxury.

I used to bring my laptop with me even when I was on vacation just so I could check on stuff. My anxiety wouldn't let me relax.

I'd worry about how much my engagement and numbers would drop while I was away.

I'd be stressed thinking, “What if people forget I even exist online?”, and there were so many other thoughts constantly racing through my head.

Yet, when I came back... everything was still there.

I guess that's the reality for many of us. In a world full of chaos and content, you sometimes can't hear yourself anymore because you're worrying so often.

Every time you go on social media, you see people creating, writing, doing, and building something.

And sometimes, that can make you feel pretty far behind in life (even when you're not). It really leaves you questioning whether you're doing or being good enough.

I agree, we still need a lil bit ๐Ÿค of that pressure to stay driven. BUT, too much of it will just lead to self-doubt and a quiet burnout.

By being away (not just physically, but mentally too), I feel like I finally have the time and space to sit down with myself and my thoughts.

I get to reflect on a lot of things and re-evaluate my priorities.

I'll share more on that in my next email!

In the meantime, I'll attach some of my holiday photos below ๐Ÿ“ธ

See you soon ๐Ÿ˜Š,
Naz

It's Cameron Highlands! When you live in the middle of the desert, you start to appreciate the greenery of your hometown โค๏ธ๐ŸŒณ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ
I have to admit, when it comes to what's trending in Malaysia... I'm usually so behind ๐Ÿ™ˆ I didn't know scones were a huge deal in the Cameron Highlands until someone told me. I made it my mission to find them ๐Ÿ˜‚
๐Ÿ“Beku Cafe, CH
