Welcome to Naz Writes 👩🏻💻👋
Your journey doesn’t have to be a straight line to be successful. Nor do you need to follow everyone else’s timeline to get there.
If you’ve ever felt like your career is all over the place, or if life threw you a curveball that made the traditional 9-5 feel impossible, you have come to the right place.
I’m Nazurah, you can call me Naz. I built this blog to be the resource hub I wish I had a few years ago. It’s a collection of everything I’ve learned about copywriting, remote work, and building a resilient life from anywhere in the world.
Whether you’re navigating life or career challenges, moving across borders, or simply looking for a career that fits your life (and not the other way around), I’m here to help you find your way.
To help you find exactly what you need, I’ve broken this blog down into a few categories.
1. Learn Copywriting
If you are someone who is interested in learning about copywriting (YES, even in the age of AI) and want to know how to make a career out of it, either through a traditional 9-5 job or freelancing, you can start here. I share the ins and outs of copywriting career.
2. Freelance Life
In this section, I shared everything you need to know about freelancing (from my own experience). Freelancing or Remote work isn’t just about “working from a beach in Bali”. For me, it was a physical necessity that turned into a ticket to global freedom. And the skills needed are not just limited to copywriting. You will find a lot of jobs that are actually available to be done “remotely”.
3. Moving and Living Abroad
After I got married to my husband, I moved from Malaysia to the Middle East and now I’m based in Riyadh. If you are an expat wife or soon-to-be one, and you wanted to figure out how to manage your career abroad remotely AND at the same time be there for your family and partner, I’ll share a few tips and perspectives that might help you navigate this journey.
4. Growth & Mindset
To achieve greater success in life, I believe our minds need to “go there” first. How you think is going to affect how you behave and act. And our way of thinking will decide how far we can go.
